The Birthday system saves members' birthdays and celebrates them when the day comes. Members add their own dates from a panel pinned in a channel; on the day, the bot posts a message with a card in the celebration channel and, if you like, gives a birthday role for the whole day.
The window first shows the birthday panel. Alex clicks "Add Birthday" and saves his date; the confirmation is visible only to him. When the day comes, the bot celebrates by mentioning Alex, and Mia writes her congratulations below.
Birthday panel
The panel is sent to the channel the admin chooses and has four buttons. All button replies are visible only to the person who clicked.

Why is the year optional?
If you enter the year, your age can be shown in the celebration message with {age}. If you don't, only the day and month are saved; your age appears nowhere.
What happens on the day?
- The bot checks birthdays once an hour. The member is celebrated at the first check of the day; they aren't celebrated a second time in the same year.
- If a celebration channel is set, the member is mentioned and a card image carrying the celebration message is posted. If the card can't be drawn, the same message is sent as text.
- If a birthday role is set, the member gets the role. Once the date changes, the role is removed at the next hourly check.
- People born on February 29 are celebrated on February 28 in non-leap years.
Setup
Step 1
On the dashboard, pick your server on the My Servers page.
Step 2
Open the Birthday System card.
Step 3
Choose the celebration channel, the panel channel and, if you like, the birthday role, and write the celebration message.
Step 4
Choose the card background and font, then click Save.
Step 5
Send the birthday panel to the panel channel with Send Panel.

Admins can fix someone else's date
When someone with the "Manage Server" permission clicks Edit, an extra User ID field appears in the window. By entering a member's ID there, they can edit that member's date; if they leave it empty, they edit their own.
If the role isn't given
The bot needs the "Manage Roles" permission and the bot's role must be above the birthday role. Otherwise the celebration message is sent but the role can't be given.
Frequently asked questions
Does my birthday carry over to other servers?
No. The record is specific to the server. If you want to be celebrated on another server, you need to add it from the panel there too.
If I change my date, will I be celebrated again this year?
If the day or month changed, yes; if the new date hasn't come yet this year, you are celebrated on that day. Changing only the year doesn't repeat the celebration.
Which dates can I enter?
The day must be between 1 and 31, the month between 1 and 12, and the day can't exceed the number of days in the month. If you enter a year, it must be between 1900 and the current year; February 29 is only accepted in leap years.
Who can see the birthday list?
Anyone who clicks the button can see the list, but the reply is visible only to them. The list doesn't include ages or years.
The celebration message didn't arrive
Check that the celebration channel is set and that the bot can send messages and files in that channel. If the member left the server, no celebration happens.

Choose the celebration channel and send the panel to a channel; let members add their own dates.
