Shufen Bot has two parts: the bot on Discord and the web dashboard at shufenbot.com. The bot runs the systems on your server; you decide on the dashboard which systems are on and how they behave.
This guide covers the path from adding the bot to turning on your first system. Each system is explained in detail in its own guide.
Setup step by step
Step 1
On shufenbot.com, click Login with Discord.
Step 2
Open the My Servers page on the dashboard. The card of a server without the bot shows an Invite Bot button. This button is visible to the server owner and to people with staff permissions on Discord. On the Discord screen, approve the Administrator permission the bot asks for.
Step 3
When the bot joins the server, it sends a language picker panel to the system channel (or the first channel it can post in). It guesses the language from your Discord server settings; if it's not the one you want, change it from the menu.
Step 4
On My Servers, go to the server page with the Manage button on the server's card.
Step 5
In the Server Systems section, click the card of the system you want to turn on: Set up opens the setup wizard, which asks for the settings and starts the system at the end with Set up and turn on.
If you leave setup halfway
If setup still hasn't been done 30 minutes after the bot is added, the server owner gets a reminder DM, and one more a day later. Once you start setting up, the reminders stop.

Get to know the system cards
Each card on the server page is a system. The bottom line of the card tells you the system's status, and its single button shows what you can do in that state. The Search systems… box and the filters help you find what you're looking for quickly.
| Status | Meaning | Button |
|---|---|---|
| Active | The system is running. | Settings |
| Not set up | Setup hasn't been done yet. | Set up |
| Off | The system is paused; the settings are kept. | Settings |
| Plan required | The system needs a higher plan than the server has. | Go PRO / Go MAX |
| Plan expired | The system was on but the plan ended. Settings are not deleted. | Renew plan |
For systems that need no settings, the button is simply Turn on or Pause.
On a system that is set up, the Settings button opens the Settings Studio: Sections on the left, and Save, Revert Settings and Delete Setup at the bottom. Pause in the header stops the system without deleting its settings, and Turn back on starts it again where it left off.
On by default, no setup needed
AFK & Reminders, AI Chat, Channel Lock, Timed Roles and Auto-Cleaned Channel are on by default. The economy and the AI Analytics Center are always on and can't be turned off per server.
Commands
To see all of the bot's commands, type / on Discord and choose Shufen Bot from the list. Command names are in the server language. A few basic commands anyone can use:
/botinfo
The bot's intro card; dashboard and support links.
/ping
Shows the bot's response time.
/server info
The server's ID, member count and creation date.
/privacy
Your data and privacy preferences. Only visible to you, and works in DMs too.
/language
Changes the bot's language on this server. Requires the Manage Server permission.
For admins
Who can access the dashboard?
The server page can be opened by the server owner and the panel managers the owner adds on the dashboard. Even if you have the Administrator permission on Discord, the Manage button on My Servers appears disabled if you aren't a panel manager.
Step 1
Scroll down to the Panel Managers section on the server page. Only the server owner sees this section.
Step 2
Click Add Manager, then search for and select the member.
Step 3
The person you add can set up, configure and pause systems; they can't add other managers.
Server language
You choose the bot's language on that server from the Bot Language box at the top of the server page. The bot's replies and the names of slash commands are in this language. Details in the Server Language guide.
Plans
Most systems are free. Some require the Pro or Max plan; the tag on the card shows which plan it needs. Plans belong to a person: after buying one, you need to click Activate premium on the server you want on My Servers. Differences and activation are covered in the Plans and Premium guide.
The bot's role
For systems that give roles, change nicknames or edit channels, the bot's role must be above the roles it will touch. Move the Shufen Bot role up under Server Settings → Roles.

Frequently asked questions
Does it cost anything to add the bot?
No. Adding the bot and using the free systems is free. Paid plans only unlock systems that require Pro or Max.
I'm an admin on Discord but the "Manage" button is disabled. Why?
On the dashboard, only the server owner and the panel managers they add can change server settings. Ask the owner to add you in the Panel Managers section.
If I turn a system off, are my settings deleted?
No. Pause stops the system and the settings stay in place. To delete the settings, you need to use the Delete Setup button in the Settings Studio.
What happens if I kick the bot and add it back?
When the bot is removed from a server, your settings are kept for 90 days. When you add it back, a "Previous settings found" banner appears on the server page; you can restore them from there.
Why do the commands appear in another language?
Command names follow the server language. Change the language with /language or on the dashboard; the commands update within a few seconds. If Discord doesn't show it right away, reload the app (Ctrl+R).
A command says the system is disabled
That system hasn't been set up on this server or has been paused. Find the system's card on the dashboard and start it with Set up, or Settings → Turn back on.
