The Server Treasury is a shared piggy bank the community fills together. Silver goes into the treasury as members send messages and spend time in voice. When the treasury reaches its goal, a reward chest opens and the reward inside benefits the whole server. Anyone can check the status with /server treasury.

The treasury step by step
How does the treasury fill up?
Nobody deposits anything into the treasury directly. As members chat and stay in voice, the economy system produces silver along with gold, and this silver goes straight into the treasury. Members aren't notified; earnings are silent.
- Messages: Messages earn silver with a cooldown in between.
- Voice: Silver is earned at set intervals in voice. Members who are muted or alone in the channel don't contribute.
- Daily cap: There may be an upper limit on how much silver one member can earn for the treasury in a day.
Each member's contribution is counted separately. The "Contribution" line on the /balance card and the Contribution button in the /leaderboard table show it.
Silver belongs to nobody
The silver in the treasury belongs to the server; nobody can spend it or send it to someone else. The money you can spend is gold. The difference is explained in the Economy guide.
Goal and chest rules
The treasury goal and chest rules are set by the bot team and are the same on every server. The goal can be a fixed number, calculated from the server's member count, or grow in tiers each cycle. You see the current goal on the treasury card and in the dashboard.
The treasury doesn't reset when it reaches the goal; the silver stays in it until the chest is opened. To open the chest, you need:
- A minimum number of different members who contributed to the treasury this cycle.
- The cooldown since the last chest opening to have passed.
- At least one reward in the reward pool to draw.
If one of these is missing, the dashboard says why; for example, how many contributors are needed or the date after which the chest can be opened.
What can come out of the chest?

Which reward comes out is random. In the dashboard, the ? button next to the chest shows the rewards in the chest and the chance of each.
Every 5th cycle is legendary
The chest of every fifth cycle (5th, 10th, 15th …) is a Legendary Chest, and its reward is drawn from a separate pool. The dashboard shows how many cycles are left until the legendary chest.
For admins
The treasury works on every server by itself. As the server owner or a dashboard manager, to open the chest and choose the announcement channel:

In the dashboard, pick your server on the My Servers page.
Step 2
On the Server Treasury card in the Tools section, click Open Treasury.
Step 3
Choose the announcement channel in the Settings section. It saves automatically when the channel changes.
Step 4
When the treasury is full, click the chest in the Treasury Status section and confirm the opening. The treasury resets and a new cycle begins.
Step 5
The reward goes into the Earned Rewards list. When you're ready, click Activate.

The card also has a Contribution Ranking section: it lists the top contributors for this cycle, last cycle and all time. The dashboard card also estimates roughly when the treasury will fill up at the current pace.
Reward time starts on activation
The time on Showcase and plan rewards starts running when you click Activate, not when the chest is opened. If you already have an active reward of the same type, the new reward is added to it and extends its time. Gold distribution is paid out to that cycle's contributors the moment you activate it and can't be undone.
If the announcement doesn't arrive
The bot posts the announcement to the channel you chose first, or to the server's system channel if there is none. If it can't send messages in either, the announcement is skipped. The treasury still fills and the chest still opens; only the message isn't sent.
Frequently asked questions
Who can open the chest?
Only the server owner or dashboard managers, from the dashboard. Members see the treasury status in Discord but can't open the chest.
What happens to the silver in the treasury when the chest is opened?
The treasury resets and a new cycle begins. The total earned counter and the all-time contribution ranking are kept.
Who gets a share of the gold distribution?
Every member who contributed to the treasury at least once in the cycle the chest was opened. The amount per person is shown on the reward.
Can I change the goal myself?
No. The treasury goal and chest rules are the same on every server and are set by the bot team.
Why isn't the treasury filling up?
The treasury only fills through members' message and voice activity. Nothing builds up on quiet days. Members who are muted or alone in voice don't contribute.
"The chest needs at least … distinct contributors" warning
Not enough different members have contributed to the treasury this cycle. Once a few more members join the conversation, the chest can be opened.
